coffee shop in every small town from New York to California. While
these malls bring a greater selection of products at lower prices to small
towns across
America, they are creating in their wake a country that is devoid of regionalism,
that special something that gives each place its unique
charm.
Over the course of this documentary you will visit a few of the many small towns across this country that have not lost their identity to the corporate culture quickly spreading across our land. Listen to the stories of the people that make this up this country and get a glimpse of what small town America is and what mainstream America used to be. From the bejeweled beaches of California to the sleepy towns of New England and the hospitality of the southern states, we will travel across the country, Searching for America.
